Why Your Building's Warranty Should Start With Concrete

Walk into any new apartment in Ahmedabad and the sales pitch is predictable. Italian marble. Modular kitchen. Anti-rust window frames. And somewhere in the fine print: a 2-year warranty on waterproofing, a 1-year warranty on paint. Nobody talks about the concrete. The Surface vs The Structure

Paint has a lifespan of 3 to 5 years. Waterproofing, if done well, lasts 5 to 10. Plumbing fittings, maybe 15. Concrete? A well-designed, well-placed, well-cured RCC structure is engineered to last 50 to 100 years. Cube casting at the site, in front of the client. 7-day and 28-day compression test reports from an accredited lab. Mix design documentation tailored to the specific structural requirement. When all of this exists, you do not need a warranty. You have proof.
